Emmaus College is a Roman Catholic, Coeducational, Independent secondary college which serves the eastern suburbs of Melbourne, Australia. The school has a Main Campus (years 7, 8, 10, 11 and 12) in Vermont South〔() Junior Campus location〕 and a Year 9 campus in Burwood.〔() Burwood Campus location〕 It has a population of approximately 1200 students and slowly growing.〔() Newsletter 1〕 Emmaus College is a member of the EISM Sporting Association (joined in 1989).It is One Of The Many Schools that participate in the EISM competition. Emmaus has enjoyed much success in the EISM competition for various sports == History == Emmaus College was established in February 1980 through the merger of St Thomas More College in Vermont South (1968–1979) and Chavoin College in Burwood (1966–1979). Emmaus College was the first co-educational secondary college in the Archdiocese of Melbourne to be formed from the union of an all-boys school with an all-girls school.
